In the 1960s, there were not too many high-tech camera tricks, CGI, or special effects like we have today (in case you’ve been living under a rock for the last 50 years). So all the magic moves done by Samantha were done with the help of stagehands moving various objects off camera, or using simple camera tricks, like speeding up or slowing down the film. Even though the technology was limited, the film crews still found ways to make the impossible seem real.
