Sure, on a movie set, some people are more important to the overall success of the production than others, but this move just seems rude. The production team provided wardrobes, but only for the main actors and actresses. For supporting actors, they had to provide their own wardrobes. They would literally bring their own clothes to the set for filming. Hopefully the production studio at least paid for laundry.
