16. Darrin and Endora Were Actually Good Friends

On the show, Samantha’s mother, Endora — played by Agnes Moorehead — and Darrin (Dick York) did not get along well. Their banter would often lead to some of the show’s funniest moments. In real life, however, Moorehead and York were very good friends.

Moorehead was also one of the most accomplished actresses of Hollywood’s “Golden Age.” On top of six Emmy nominations for her role on Bewitched, she also won two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for four Academy Awards.
